Where are you located?
I am physically located in Dana Point, California, but I am available to see you through video/online if you are located in California.
How does online therapy work?
To be seen through telehealth, I will provide you a link to our HIPPA-compliant Zoom room where we have our sessions.
How can I make an appointment?
You can make an appointment on the request page. I will then contact you via phone or email – whichever you prefer.
What are your office hours?
My office hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 6 pm. I do take emergent appointments if needed.
How long is a typical session?
The sessions are typically one hour. There are 30-minute sessions available as well.
How do I pay?
You can pay by debit card, credit card, or Zelle.
Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I do accept insurance. I accept Anthem Blue Cross California, Cigna, Oscar Health, Aetna, Oxford and United Healthcare. If you do not have one of the insurances mentioned I can provide you with a superbill so that you can seek reimbursement from your insurance company.

What is your cancellation policy?
Within 24 hours of your appointment, there is a cancellation fee.
With what age range do you work?
I work with adolescents from age 13 to young adults, adults, and older adults.
Do I have to tell you everything?
You do not have to tell me everything. It is up to you how much you want to share or feel comfortable sharing at the time.
Who benefits from therapy?
You will benefit from therapy, and those in your life will also. You can become the best possible version of yourself and see how those changes affect your relationships, work, and overall life.
How long will I be in therapy?
Time is a valuable construct. The time you spend in therapy depends on you and your goals. The benefits you will reap from it are endless if you put what you learn into practice.
How do you work with clients?

Sessions are tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. Each client I work with has individualized sessions, especially for them. Clients are provided with a safe and welcoming space. In this space, I work with clients using combined therapy modalities, e.g., Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and motivational interviewing.

I also work with clients using medication therapy and holistic-type therapies. All of this is dependent on individual preferences and needs.

Do you prescribe medications?
Yes, I prescribe medication.
Will I have to take medication?
No, it is entirely your choice as the patient to decide if you will take medication.
What is your professional background?
I worked as a Registered Nurse in a cardiac unit and medical-surgical unit. I also worked as a Registered Nurse in a mental health urgent care, psychiatric hospital, and mental health outpatient stabilization unit.
